2008-2009 Princeton University, as a Forbes College Fellow  and visiting artist, Ruth Gerson taught "Singing, Songwriting and Performance" for first years’ through seniors, and also coached students privately in voice and songwriting.

•Gerson has taught private lessons and group classes in NYC for fifteen years and is the founder and creator of the "New & Used" Songwriters Collective.

•As an independent artist, Ruth Gerson has appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” PBS, Showtime, HBO and Lifetime television.

•She has performed at the Newport Folk Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage, High Sierra Music Fests, CMJ, SXSW and many more.

•Gerson has sold over 65,000 albums on her own label and toured Europe, South America and Asia. She has opened for Dave Matthews Band, Lisa Loeb, Roger McGuinn, Suzanne Vega and others.

•Gerson has recently produced eight  EPs for new artists (to be released), as well as music for an upcoming album of comedian Steven Wright.
